Jason Matzus

Attorney Jason Matzus is a partner at Raizman Frischman & Matzus, P.C. Attorney Matzus attended Gettysburg College, graduating Magna Cum Laude and 12th overall in his class in 1990 with dual degrees. In 1995, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with a Juris Doctorate.

Attorney Jason Matzus has been the president of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, which covers 26 counties in Western Pennsylvania. Attorney Matzus is an elected officer of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the largest professional organization for trial lawyers in Pennsylvania with approximately 3,000 members. Additionally, he is an invited member of the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, both of which are designations reserved for the top attorneys in their field. Attorney Matzus is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of PIttsburgh School of Law.

Contribution to the Community

Attorney Matzus believes in giving back to his community. One of the most rewarding moments of his life occurred when he became the founding chairperson of an annual charity race benefiting the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, a group of local wheelchair athletes that compete in competitive sporting events. Overall, Mr. Matzus has helped raised approximately $200,000 for this organization.
